The Finn Sauna Experience

The oldest reset there is

Heat, then cold, then rest. The Finns have been doing this for centuries, and they have words for things we don't.

Löyly

You ladle water onto the hot stones and the steam rises. Löyly, the Finns call it. The day starts to leave you. Muscles loosen, shoulders drop, the sweat carries the stress out with it. It's hard to hold onto anything at 180 degrees. Most people stop trying.

Avanto

Then the cold. In Finland, you cut a hole in the frozen lake, an avanto, and lower yourself in. It's a shock, but a clean one. It pulls you fully into the present; there's no room for a to-do list when you're waist-deep in ice water. It takes a little sisu, the Finnish word for quiet grit. And when you climb out, you feel it: clear, calm, wide awake.

Rest

The best part comes last. You wrap up, sit by the fire or the brook, and do nothing at all. The heat and cold have emptied you out, and the quiet fills you back up. This is the part people never forget.

Why 35?

The Finn sits on cold water. Our brook is fed by snowmelt off the White Mountains, and in the deep of winter it runs about thirty-five degrees, just a few degrees above ice.

That's the number in our name. It's also a dare. Step into water that cold and you don't forget it. Come find out what thirty-five degrees feels like.

The 35° Club

Everyone who takes the winter plunge earns their place in it. Cold water, warm welcome, bragging rights included.

Why it belongs in a life, not just a vacation

A sauna isn't something you book once. It's a rhythm. Do it regularly and you start to notice things: you sleep deeper, you handle stress better, you feel more at home in your own body. It gives you a reliable way to end the day well, and a reason to step away from the screen and be in your body instead of your head.

That's what we fell for in Finland. It's what we're building here.
